Topic: Vehicle 2.0 - Tech Meets Transportation w/ Atlis Motors & TuSimple
What We Learned This Week:
Guests: Mark Hanchett CEO & Founder of Atlis Motor Vehicles
Mark Hanchatt, CEO and Founder – started 2016, tech background, worked at Axon (Taser)
Per Mark - I believe that to change the world we need to build it ourselves. We cannot wait for the government to force it, and we cannot wait for big corporations to innovate. To make this world better, we need to develop the products, technologies, and solutions that make the current standard obsolete. I believe dedication to this is what makes great products and great people.
The future won’t be built by compromising today’s technological abilities. Built off of our three business units — Energy, XP Platform, and XT Pickup Truck- our vision at ATLIS is: to build the technology ecosystem that powers our lives.
ATLIS is revolutionizing battery technology from the ground up and developing the AMV cell entirely in-house, reimagining what a work vehicle powered by our AMV technology should look like with the XT pickup truck. We are bringing the future standard of vehicle capabilities to alternative mobility markets such as box trucks and emergency vehicles with the XP Platform. All these capabilities disrupts and surpass the current standards of vehicle performance.
